Luxury Leather, Made by Hand in Florence Since 1962.
This year, our Florence atelier has released fewer than two thousand four hundred finished pieces across three collections — a deliberate cap first set by Tomaso and Elena Karra in 1962, and held by the third generation ever since. Every piece below was hand-stitched by a single named artisan over eighteen to forty hours, in leather tanned exclusively by our partners at Conceria Walpier.

On every piece: one artisan's monogram, one tannery batch, one maker's hours.
In 1962 our founders entered a partnership with a small vegetable tannery outside Pisa, Conceria Walpier, on the understanding that we would take our leather from no other source. Sixty-three years later, the agreement still holds. Each hide is selected by the artisan who will cut the piece, and is stamped with a Walpier batch number recorded inside the lining of every bag, briefcase, and folio we make. Construction is single-artisan: one maker cuts, stitches, edges, and signs each piece from first hide to finished bag. Their initials live inside the lining for as long as the piece exists — and we service it, free of charge, for as long as we exist.

Handbags
Fewer than nine hundred pieces released this year, each finished by a named artisan. The handbag is the slowest object we make — hand-burnished edges alone take four hours.
